State Committee for Mineral Reserves of the Kyrgyz Republic
State Committee for Mineral Reserves of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter SCMR of the Kyrgyz Republic or Committee) is formed as a part of the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
SCMR of the Kyrgyz Republic is a republican body carrying out expert evaluation regarding availability and calculation of explored reserves of mineral deposits.
State expert evaluation can be carried out at any stage of subsoil exploration. State expert evaluation report is a basis for explored mineral resources registration in the State Register.
The main objectives of SCMR of the Kyrgyz Republic are as follows:
– testing for determination of mineral raw materials required for calculation of mineral reserves in subsoil and provision of full, complex and efficient use of the mineral resources base of the country.
– expert evaluation of materials submitted to the Committee regarding calculation and testing of mineral reserves at different stages of exploration, which are taken into account when carrying out design and construction of new and reconstruction of active mining enterprises and preparing of perspective plans of mining industry development.
