THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY AND THE AMBASSADOR OF INDIA DISCUSSED PERSPECTIVES FOR FUTURE COOPERATION
On March 7, 2014 the director of the State agency for geology and mineral resources under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Duyshenbek Zilaliyev met the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India in the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Zhayant N. Khobragade for the purpose of discussion of prospects of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting the Ambassador of India noted a big interest of three large Indian companies in investing in mining industry of the Kyrgyz Republic (Anik Industries Limited, Mesco Group, Steel Mont Trading Group). The director of the agency informed that this year several big deposits of the state importance are planned to be put up to tender and invited the Indian companies to participate. Also Duyshenbek Zilaliyev assured the Ambassador of India that from the agency side all necessary support will be provided.
Following the results of the meeting the agreement was reached that within the next two months representatives of the Indian companies will visit the agency for discussion of the concrete directions of cooperation.
